Glee: Home is a House that is Not a Home Or Wait, I Think I Didn't Understand the Assignment

Hmm, maybe I should do one of those crazy posts where I update my life situation and at the very least mention that I'm still breathing.

I'm pretty sure I'm still breathing. But screw life when there's Glee!

Not really my favorite episode music-wise but what really can come after a Madonna-orgy of awesome but a bit of a lull? The musical treatment of April and Will's scenes together worked pretty well and rounded out April's story nicely.

Although I'm pretty sure come Season Two, she'll be found working behind a Quick Stop or something, having blown 2 million. >.> Still, gotta love the Cheno and her amazing voice.

I'm probably the only person who likes Rachel and still, I was bemused that she was effectively a background character in this episode as Kurt and Mercedes were front and center.

It was interesting to hear what Beautiful sounds like without all the runs and oversinging.

Quinn has a soul sometimes. <3

I loved seeing Mike Chang really getting into singing Beautiful in the background.

The storyline of Kurt and Finn's parents getting together is seriously pretty great and I fucking love that the Kurt and Burt scenes are so emotionally glorious. I am just. Flailing my hands. Over here.

Er, and Sue Sylvester is awesome even at her cruelest? But that's obvious. I thought the cute journalist was great and it is bugging me that I can't remember where I've seen him before.

Final comment: I need more Jesse St. James. UGH. His evil plot may be evil but damn if I am not already a total Groff fan.
