My favorite one so far is definitely episode 2 which does a great take on The Hangover premise and it's very buddy-buddy. All my feelings about Shawn-Gus have been rekindled so eeeeee, yay I have an hour long show to watch that doesn't make me yell at the screen!
In other yelling at the screen news, I watched The Walking Dead. And all I will say is this:
Um, I would TOTALLY trust an old vet who manages to have a fuckton of medical supplies in a clean house when my stupid ass child got his ass shot. What is your deal, Lori? YOU ARE LIVING IN A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. If someone who has operated on SMALL animals as well as large ones, is willing to save your stupid child's life, YOU THANK THEM. God. People who left their spouses to DIE in overrun zombie hospitals do not insult anyone with a modicum of medical knowhow. And for the record, your child is the "idiot who stood next to an edible animal" and the hunter is not "the idiot who shot him." SORRY YOUR KID WASN'T WEARING ORANGE.
Can we give Glenn more stuff to do? Thanks. Also "our" heroes continue to make the dumbest of choices. Seriously. Dale not mentioning to the group that Theodore (yay an actual name) was dying of blood poisoning until they'd already been standing around for clearly a long stretch of time? Why do you do these things?
Riding on a horse lady seemed cool. I just fear the new folks we met will wind up zombie chow because our heroes are stupid and they will probably bring zombies with them when they finally make it to the farm. "Sorry our noisy RV brought a plague of zombies into your awesome place. Mind if we just let you die while we complain about stuff but don't try to sharpen our survival skills?"
Also, I don't care about the missing little girl. If she can't figure out to make a sign, "I'm HERE" or "Going this way" markers in the wood, she's as good as zombie chow.
Okay, Rick and Shane were going to make out at several points during this episode. What's up with that?
In final news, next week, Glee comes back and I look forward to the end of hiatus for lo, Glee fandom for the spoiled has been quite a ride.
I posted fic yesterday for the beyond_dapper mini-exchange and I am still proud of the title: Boys Seldom Make Passes At Boys With Flat Asses: A Sex Seminar With Santana Lopez. For all that there's some fairly explicit talk, it's only an R rating, which is kind of funny to me.
Tonight: Community. Now that's a show I really do not spoil myself for at all so I have no idea what's going on and I'm happy to go in blind since all I know is that it's a Halloween episode. This has not been a very good week so I am totally drowning myself in TV as a pick me up.
